Bio: Green Clean Az  was started in 2007 by Ian Bates.   In 1999, Ian made the jump back to his early days in construction, after spending more then fifteen years in the high tech industry. Over the last seven years, he started and is still operating a successful paint contracting company.

Over the last ten years of owning and maintaining his own pools.  Ian realized there was one maintenance item (That icky white waterline ring) that was impossible to remove no matter what he tried.   Ian set his sights on developing a process to safely remove that unsightly water line ring.

After spending two years researching ideas and looking at damage done by substandard processes.  Ian has developed a surface restoration process that utilizes new technology along with earths natural minerals to achieve the desired result.

Mission Statement: Utilizing leading edge processes to safely and effectively restore all substrates to near original condition.

Eco Friendly Surface Preparation, Restoration and Cleaning Services

The Mohs mineral hardness scale categorizes a minerals hardness by its ability to scratch other minerals. The harder mineral always scratches the softer mineral, if the minerals have the same number they will scratch each other.  Tile is generally made out of glass or enamel, which is about a 6.5 . Outdated methods of calcium removal which utilize glass beads or sand blasting, which is also around a 6.5. Which means that your pool surface has a greater likelihood of being scratched. The Green Clean Method utilizes the lowest possible air pressure along with Epson Salts which is a 3.5, which in summary means the potential for damage is far less likely.
